John is a Director at Indev Consult Ltd., which he co-founded in 2015. He graduated from Strathclyde University in 1998, B. Eng Hons., and has extensive experience in civil and structural designs for various commercial and residential developments across Scotland.

At Indev Consult Ltd., John manages all aspects of the business, including procurement, accreditations, training, software, accounts, workflow, and commercial matters, while also participating in project design and delivery. He has developed key client relationships with various developers, architects, and master-planners in the industry.

Douglas Kirkby serves as a Director at Indev Consult Ltd., a consulting civil and structural engineering firm he co-founded in 2015. He possesses extensive expertise in the development, design, specification, and delivery of major civil engineering projects, particularly within the residential and commercial sectors.

At Indev Consult Ltd., Mr. Kirkby is actively engaged in daily operations and adopts a hands-on approach to civil engineering designs and master-planning.

Scott Frame, B.Eng (Hons), C.Eng, M.I.Struct.E., S.E.R. approved Certifier of Design, directs the structural engineering team at Indev Consult Ltd., translating client needs into design and construction plans. 

Scott qualified as a Chartered Structural Engineer in 1994 and is an S.E.R. approved Certifier of Design. Throughout his career with various multi-disciplinary consultancies, he has specialized primarily in structural engineering design. He possesses extensive experience in projects encompassing low and high-rise residential, commercial, industrial, educational, hospital/nursing home, and refurbishment developments. His expertise spans a range of structural systems, including multi-storey steelwork, concrete frames, load-bearing masonry, timber frames, and cold form metal stud framing systems.  

Additionally, Scott has substantial experience in site supervision, ensuring accuracy, quality, and contract compliance. In the educational sector, he has designed numerous structural forms, such as timber frames for primary schools, reinforced concrete for multi-storey student residences, and structural steelwork for teaching buildings and sports halls. His proficiency in foundation engineering is another key asset, particularly in early project appraisal and designing cost-effective solutions for challenging ground conditions.

As the Head of the Structural Engineering Department of the company, he is accountable for the management, programming, and delivery of both technical and administrative outputs.

Iain serves as Technical Director, with specialisations in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Site Supervision. He earned his M.Eng in Civil Engineering from Strathclyde University in 1994 and became a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2001. Additionally, he obtained certification as an S.E.R. certifier of design in 2008.

His responsibilities included ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, measurement, and payment. Currently, he specializes in structural engineering, bringing expertise in designing both high-rise and low-rise residential developments, student accommodations, healthcare facilities, educational buildings, industrial structures, and commercial projects using materials such as steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.

Alastair is a Senior Structural Engineer with over 25 years of experience in structural design, assessment and supervision of a wide range of projects including housing developments (from two-storey houses to four-storey flats), offices, apartments, schools, and industrial warehouses constructed in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.

Alastair’s responsibilities include the preparation and review/checking of structural design calculations to facilitate SER Certification, structural surveys, site supervision, mentoring graduate engineers and client support. 

Alastair holds a BSc (Hons) in civil engineering and is currently pursuing Chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Scott Cunningham is an Associate Director at Indev Consult, with over 23 years of engineering experience. He has worked across multiple disciplines, including Residential, Concrete, Geotechnical, Structural, Rail, Hydropower, and Wind farms. Scott excels in delivering high-quality designs under pressure and adapting to new challenges quickly.

Scott's skills include excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in various software, such as Site 3D, PDS, Flow Win-des, Holebase & Keyhole, Sketch-up, DCF, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Sinan Alobaidi is an Associate Director at Indev Consult and has over 18 years of extensive experience in civil engineering. He holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Environmental Civil Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and is working towards chartership with The Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Throughout his career, Sinan has successfully managed, overseen, and delivered multi-disciplinary designs for a variety of large-scale, high-value developments across Scotland, including infrastructure, residential, educational, healthcare, commercial, and renewable energy projects. As an Associate Civil Engineer at Indev Consult Ltd, he leads a team, manages the entire project lifecycle from budgeting to execution, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides technical support.   

Steven Greig is an Associate Director at Indev Consult and has worked within the Civil Engineering industry since 1997. He possesses sound knowledge of residential and commercial development infrastructure design and had extensive experience in utilising the latest engineering guidance and software for roads, earthworks, and drainage design.

Steven is experienced in securing Statutory Approvals such as Planning Approvals, Roads Construction Consents (RCC), and Drainage Technical Approvals, he has had many years of experience leading teams of engineers and technicians and planning  work and resources needed to enable effective implementation of engineering tasks and projects.

Darren Naughton is an Associate Director at Indev Consult with 18 years of experience in construction and engineering. He excels in project oversight, drainage design, cost management, and infrastructure design. His skills include project management, procurement, leadership, collaboration, technical writing, and familiarity with NEC Contracts.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering, a National Diploma in Transportation Engineering, and a National Certificate in Construction Studies. Darren is pursuing Chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

His responsibilities cover project lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, regulatory compliance, technical support, cost monitoring, report preparation, and detailed design using WinDes Micro-drainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Site3D, and MX Road.

Morag Madill is a seasoned Finance and Office Manager with expertise in accounts, banking, payment processing, and reconciliations. She excels in delivering exceptional service, exceeding targets, and driving process improvements through her strong organizational and communication skills.

Currently, Morag oversees financial operations at Indev Consult Ltd in Bellshill, managing cash flow, bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledgers, and cost optimization strategies. She also handles office administration, stakeholder relationships, ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and HR functions.
