Indev Consult supported Westpoint Homes as civil/structural consultants for a 5 storey residential development in Burgh Hall Street, Glasgow.
The construction form comprised timber frame with brickwork and zinc cladding. Foundations compromised continuous flight auger (CFA) piling to rockhead. Bored piling was adopted to mitigate disturbance / vibration to the adjacent railway.
Progressive collapse measures were incorporated into the design to comply with Risk Classification 2B, Design Check Level DCL3.
The development was completed in 2024.
